Sherpa Adventure Gear is a US company founded by a Nepali entrepreneur looking to bring jobs back to his home; hence most of their manufacturing takes place in Nepal and provide over 1,500 jobs to the people of Nepal.

 

In addition to the sustainability of the culture, Sherpa is also working to reduce waste and promote sustainable materials. Many of the garments are Bluesign certified, which is a designation for sustainable textile production, and all garments are made with azo-free dyes. Garments are constructed from a combination of Organic Cotton, Recycled fibres, Modal and Tencel.

 

A portion from every sale from Sherpa Adventure Gear goes towards a fund to provide education for the children of Nepal.
